Santa Claus brings the pressies!

Santa Claus brings the pressies!

Welcome to our humble website.

As you might have gathered from the title of the site, we are all about Christmas!

We like to talk about parties, drinks, gifts, games & good times – these aren’t limited to the 25th December, or they weren’t last time we checked – though the central theme of this website is most definitely how to get the best out of Christmas and New Years Eve.

If you’re an unreformed Scrooge, however, you may well find that you don’t enjoy what we’ve got to say – Christmas isn’t about spending money, but it is about having a great time and being nice.

Over the coming weeks, months and (probably!) years, we’re going to be pumping out a wealth of information about the following topics – and more.

Christmas Shopping

Christmas is widely regarded as a time for giving. While giving of yourself is richly fulfilling and costs you nothing but your time, its also true that it is nice to buy presents for our loved ones, co-workers and anyone else who is deserving!

We’re going to provide you with Christmas Shopping features with a difference: everything we feature will be available to buy online. Not only that, we’ll go further! We’ll try to list an up-to-date price, delivery info and all the gubbins that you’ll need to make an informed buying decision. We’ll also include clear and easy to understand links to the exact page where you can purchase the particular gift item online.

You know those “Christmas Gift Idea” newspaper stories that are about to start hitting the pages? Well, what we’re going to be doing will be even more super-duper: we’ll have accurate “Buy Now” links to turbo-charge your Christmas shopping

Christmas Tips

We’re not just going to provide a huge list of products and gift ideas, though, as Christmas nowadays has become as much about sprucing up your house and putting on a good spread as it is about showering gifts on all and sundry.

Christmas.vg is here to help you almost every step of the way, providing coherant, sensible and eminantly affordable Christmas tips from decorating your pelmets to giving your wee doggie a Santa suit (that he or she won’t shake off in an instant!).

Christmas Recipes

Christmas is about dinner, too, right? Yes it surely is. Christmas dinner is an important feature of any family life. We’ll be exploring the different options that people can take, right from a Turkey with all the trimmings (and even advice on where to source your Xmas bird) through vegetarian options, up to Restaurant dining for those of us who wish to escape the madding crowds or hectic family life on the big day.

Christmas dinner needn’t be a recipe for disaster!

Christmas Parties

What better way to spend the run-up to Christmas than by easing off those inhibitions and partying on down with your friends and colleagues at a Christmas party?

Whether you’re planning – or just planning to attend – a Christmas party, we’ll be here with helpful hints and advice to make your Xmas event pass without a hitch. We’ll tell you where to order your bargain booze, how to sort out some fancy dress, what you might like to cook, and how to entertain your guests.

Unfortunately, we won’t be able to help you when Brian from accounts starts chatting you (or your wife) up at the office party! But we will be able to share similar stories to lighten your load!

Share Your Christmas Nuggets

As we mentioned above, sharing stories with other people about a shared experience – the experience of Christmas – is great fun, and also helps us through what can be a very stressful time in a busy family environment.

We want you to share with us – and we mean anything you’d like to share about Christmas!

Whether that be simply by leaving comments at the end of other people’s posts (which anyone can do at any time!), sharing he stories we produce on Facebook, MySpace or another social network of your choice (by clicking the Share This icon where presnt) or by registering as a blog author (more on this page) and writing down your recipes, decorating tips and other Christmas goodies.

Thanks for stopping by – feel free to come back any time.

If you’re interested in writing for us and sharing yur Christmas tips with the world, feel free to visit the “Write For Us” page and get started with an application – anyone can join, and you’ll be able to expose your Xmas prowess to the world at large via the World Wide Interweb.

Phenominal.

Merry Christmas!
