  • Visit Santa and his reindeer friends 140 metres underground as Santa returns to his special underground grotto. Santa will be returning to his underground grotto every Saturday and Sunday from 22 November until Christmas with special extra dates on 22, 23 December. Families will have the opportunity to travel 140 metres underground to meet Santa, one of his elves and his reindeer!

WILTON ROAD CAROL CONCERT 14/12/2008

  • 2:00PM: Wilton Park, Bradford Road, Batley.
  • Event is organised by the Friends of the Park Group. The Rev. Patrick Senior, Vicar of St.Saviour’s Church, Birstall, will lead the Carols and children from the church’s Sunday School will present their version of the Nativity. Emley Brass Band will provide the music. To keep families entertained beforehand, Santa Claus will be arriving in the park at 2pm – complete with presents. There will be a small charge for children to visit Santa.

  • A lovely and lively Carol Service celebrating the festival of Christmas and featuring the talents of the U3A (University of the Third Age). The U3A choirs lead singing and perform a repertoire of beautiful music.
