<li>A fun-packed Christmas Fayre to celebrate the festive season, including live winter animals, a craft fair and a range of activities for families.</li>
<li>One of the star attractions will be two live reindeer, Jingle and Belle, which will be dropping into the museum between 11 am and 4 pm on Saturday. On Sunday live Huskies will be paying a visit. Santa Claus will be in his grotto to receive requests for Christmas presents, with a charge of Â£2 per child to meet Santa and get an early Christmas present. Refreshments will be on offer, including a selection of mouth-watering home-made cakes. The museum will also be opening its Christmas exhibition on Saturday.</li>

<li>Your Santa experience starts with a welcome from our station staff then an enjoyable visit to Santa&#8217;s log cabin. THOMAS will be in steam around Wansford during your visit. Families then join the decorated train for a 55 minute ride to Peterborough and return. During the journey our train staff serve the children with a Thomas drink and some chocolate or sweets. Parents and other adults are given a serving of a mince pie with either an alcoholic miniature, wine or a hot drink. Santa walks through the train to see the children and to wish everyone the compliments of the season.</li>

<p><strong>SOUTHWICK SQUARE CHRISTMAS FESTIVAL</strong></p>

<li>2008 dates to be announced (in 2007 it was : Saturday 1st December : a daytime event &#8211; finish approx. 5pm)</li>
<li>Southwick Square Traders Association are holding their annual Christmas Festival on Saturday 1st December. There will be a kiddies funfair running all day and Father Christmas will be in the Square&#8217;s Post Office approx. 2pm. There will be charity fundraising stalls, the Police CCTV van and display and St. John&#8217;s will also be there both in official capacity and fundraising. There will be some new Christmas illuminations thanks to a donation from Adur District Council. There will be plenty of pre-Christmas bargains and a fun day for everyone.</li>

The Sweater (1980, 10 min.), directed by Sheldon Cohen, is an animated version of a story by QuÃ©bec author Roch Carrier, set in the rural QuÃ©bec of his boyhood. Carrier recalls the passion for playing hockey, which he shared with the other boys of his community. This funny, poignant story is animated in a style that evokes the late 1940s.</li>
