<li>Children across the city will be delighted to learn that Santa will once again make a special journey from the North Pole to Wolverhampton, where he will take up residence in his special grotto in the Wulfrun Centre. The grotto opens on 26th November to coincide with the start of late night shopping. The grotto will be open until 8pm.</li>

<li>Hundreds are expected to take to the streets &#8211; dressed as Santa! They&#8217;ll be running or walking to raise money for Acorns Children&#8217;s Hospice and you can take part too.</li>
<li>Each run will be no more than 2km. There is a Â£15 registration fee for adults and a Â£5 registration fee for under 16&#8217;s (this includes your santa suit to wear on the day). We also ask that you raise a minimum amount of sponsorship &#8211; Â£45 for adults and Â£25 for under 16&#8217;s.</li>

<li>Featuring vintage fire engines, steam traction engines, a West Midlands Fire Service Band, the Rotary Club sleigh and street entertainers will start in Piper&#8217;s Row at 6.30pm and finish in Queen Square. There will also be a children&#8217;s funfair, Lady Wulfruna Organ and a dazzling firework display on the Civic Centre Piazza. Crowds will be entertained by George Michael lookalike, Wayne Dilks and West Midlands Fire Service Band.</li>
